Welcome to the Marine Air Ground Combat Center, the Marine Corps' premiere desert training facility! A sponsor is a fellow Marine that is assigned by a newcomer's gaining Command and helps the newcomer before, during and after a move. If you haven't been assigned a sponsor, you can request one through your new Command. Commands try to match sponsors and service members by rank and family status.
To request a sponsor, the inbound Marine should contact his/her gaining Command. Sponsors will contact the inbound Marine for an introduction, answer questions, and offer information and resources about the Command, installation and surrounding community. The Information, Referral and Relocation program is available to help assist with sponsor requests if there are issues with the gaining unit.
